How do I log into campustrades.osu.edu?
When you register for campustrades.osu.edu, you provide both a unique username and an email address. When you complete the registration process, you will receive an automated email from the site containing your password. This email will be sent to the address you provide.
Therefore, it's important to provide a valid email address when registering for the site. Otherwise, you'll never get your password and won't be able to log into campustrades.osu.edu.

How do I find what I'm looking for?
campustrades.osu.edu has a powerful search engine, allowing you to be as generic or as specific as you need to be. Not only can you search all listings for certain keywords, you can search the different categories for details such as brand name, category and more!
You can also browse through all the listings in a category with ease, simply by clicking on the tabs at the top of the site.

Unlike online auction sites like eBay, campustrades.osu.edu doesn't handle money transactions. All payments must be worked out between the buyer and the seller.
However, we make it easy for you to get in touch with whomever is selling the item you want to buy. Just click on the "Buy This" button next to the item you want, and you'll be able to send a message to the seller. He or she will then contact you to work out the agreement.

However, anyone can browse the items for sale.

How many items can I list at one time?
As many as you want! campustrades.osu.edu doesn't impose any limits on the number of items you can list at a time. However, the more stuff you list at a time, the more emails you will receive from interested buyers.
Back to Top How long will my item appear on campustrades.osu.edu?
By default, your listing will appear on the site for two weeks (fourteen days). When your listing is about to expire, you will receive an email warning you that your item is about to be removed from the site. By clicking the link provided in the email, you can renew your listing for an additional two weeks (fourteen days)!
You can remove your listing earlier if you sell your item sooner than expected. Your listing will also be removed by an administrator if it is inappropriate.
Back to Top Why doesn't my listing appear first on the search results?
When a potential buyer searches for an item, they enter information about the item they seek. For example, if someone is trying to find a textbook for Chemistry 121, they would probably search for "Chemistry 121."
The search results appear in alphabetical order by asking price. If you mention "Chemistry 121" in your listing, your listing will appear, but if your asking price is higher than others, it will not be first.
